Last week's arrests and incidents as released by the Secaucus police.
On 03/16/2020 at 4:14 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 39 year old male, Somak Goswami of Rutherford, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Goswami was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with 6 additional motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On 03/16/2020 at 8:47 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 46 year old male, Clayton Blake of Arverne, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(5)], Conspiracy to Commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)] and Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(1)]. Mr. Blake was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
